What Praktika is
Speaking practice with AI avatars that have their own personalities. On Premium they remember your progress, and you get unlimited speaking, instant feedback, translation help and daily speaking challenges.
Free version and pricing
Free: 3 avatars, limited speaking practice and basic feedback, reached by closing the subscription offer. Premium: weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly plans, from $49.99 a year on the US App Store, with prices varying by region and frequent discounts.
Is Praktika worth it?
Worth it if you want to talk more than study and like the avatar format; the yearly plan is one of the cheaper ones in the category. Less so if you want a structured course (Speak) or detailed pronunciation scoring (ELSA). Watch the plan you pick at checkout: weekly plans cost far more over a year.
